Residential

Painting for the place you actually live in.

Interior and exterior painting for houses, condominiums and townhomes — a single room, a full repaint, or everything outside.

What to expect

Having painters in your house should not be stressful.

Most of what makes a repaint painful has nothing to do with paint.

You do not need every paint decision made before you get in touch.

  • We look before we price

The estimate follows a walkthrough of the actual rooms or elevations, not a phone call and a rate per square foot. The written scope says which surfaces are included and how each one is prepared.

  • You can stay in your home

Most residential painting happens while people are still living in the house. During the walkthrough we go through which areas are being painted and in what order, so the plan fits a home you are still using.

  • You will know what to move

You should not have to guess what to clear out the night before. What needs to be moved, and what we cover in place, is settled at the walkthrough rather than discovered on the first morning.

  • Your home stays livable

Furniture moved or covered, floors protected, work areas tidied at the end of each day. You should be able to use the parts of the house we are not working in.

  • You know who to call

One point of contact from the first walkthrough to the last, so questions during the project go to a person rather than a voicemail box.

  • Nothing is finished until you have seen it

We walk the completed work with you, note anything that needs attention and handle it before the project is closed out.

Color & finish

The color is the part you live with.

A color behaves differently at home than it does on a swatch. North light cools it, lamplight warms it, and the sheen changes it again — the same shade reads soft in matte and brighter in satin.

So we look at it in the room it is going in. Colors and sheens are agreed during the walkthrough and written down room by room, so nothing is left to interpret once work begins. If you are matching something that already exists — trim, a previous can, a fabric you are keeping — custom color matching is one of the specialty services below.

How it works

Four stages, from first call to final walkthrough.

  1. Schedule Your Consultation

Tell us about the property and what you want painted. We follow up to arrange the consultation.

  2. Walkthrough & Written Scope

We look at the actual surfaces, discuss colors and finishes, and put the scope in writing so the price is tied to defined work.

  3. Preparation & Painting

Surfaces are cleaned, repaired and masked before any paint is applied. The space is protected while we work and tidied at the end of each day.

  4. Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished work with you, address anything that needs attention, and leave the space ready to use.
