Multi-location commercial painting

The same standard in every building.

Painting across several properties is a consistency problem before it is a painting problem. This page covers how one written standard is applied site by site across Metro Atlanta & Surrounding Areas.

How consistency is actually produced

Multi-location painting: consistency is a document, not an intention.

Two buildings drift apart when the specification lives in someone’s head. Writing it down once is what makes the fourth site match the first.

One written standard

Products, finishes and preparation are specified once, for a surface type rather than for a building. That specification is what every site is scoped against, so the same wall is treated the same way in each property.

Site-specific scope on top of it

Buildings are not identical, and pretending otherwise is how a scope goes wrong. Each site gets its own walkthrough and its own scope — the shared standard says how a surface is treated, the site scope says which surfaces are there and what condition they are in.

One point of contact for all of it

Status across every site comes from one person. You are not calling three crews to assemble the position of your own portfolio, and nobody is relaying decisions between buildings on your behalf.

Documented site by site

Each location's scope, specification and completion are recorded separately, so what was done where is answerable later — at a renewal, a handover, or the next time the same surface comes up.

Sequencing

Which building, in what order, and why.

Sites rarely have equal urgency. A lease date, a tenant moving, a property being marketed or a common area that cannot be closed during business hours all change the order. The sequence is agreed with you before work starts rather than assembled as we go.

Each site’s own constraints — access, hours the property can accommodate work, what has to stay open — are established during planning for that building, because they are rarely the same across a portfolio.
